On August 6th, Ontario issued invitations to eligible applicants in the employer nominee program for foreign worker stream and international student stream.

For foreign worker stream

This round of employer nominee program issued an invitation for overseas workers, and it was issued for applicants of the EMPP program.

For international student stream

This round of Ontario issued an invitation to the international student stream, which is also issued for applicants of the EMPP program.

Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) was launched in 2018 and is designed for skilled refugees. It belongs to the economic category immigration project, rather than the traditional refugee category immigration project. The project makes possible nominations under the existing Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) or applies under the Federal Economic Program (the Atlantic Immigration Pilot AIP).
